Glider was commissioned to join a project team for the fit out of the 280,000sqft, 15-storey Deloitte UK headquarters in London.
Our role as BIM Consultant began with ensuring all information was compliant with industry standards for BIM delivery, coordination and handover of asset information. Using our software solution, gliderbim®, we successfully delivered above and beyond the standard BIM level 2 requirements.
We ensured the delivery of lifecycle asset data through the design and construction process: clashes were resolved, installation de-risked, data compiled and O&M information managed progressively. In addition, our gliderbim® platform was used as the central repository for operational information to be integrated with the Client’s CAFM software, IBM Maximo.
Using our gliderbim® solution, Deloitte will be able to effectively manage asset information throughout the building’s entire lifecycle using one common data repository, communicating effectively with consultants, contractors and its supply chain through the design and construction process and throughout the operational lifetime of the new facility.
