Client Success:
Network Homes refreshes information management requirements
Glider has successfully won an information management consultancy tender for leading G15 housing association, Network Homes.
About Network Homes
Founded in 1974, Network Homes is a charitable housing association. It provides over 21,000 affordable homes for more than 38,000 people, predominantly across London and Hertfordshire. Network Homes reinvests its profits into building more affordable homes and delivering great services for its residents. As an existing and approved supplier, Glider responded to a ‘Request for Quotation’ from Network Homes for Requirement Drafting Services. Glider won the competitive tender due to the quality and cost of its submission.
Stuart Bell, Director of Sales and Marketing at Glider commented: “We are delighted to be working with Network Homes. We have experience of working with housing associations, and will use this knowledge to review and refine Network Homes’ specific asset information needs. Glider’s information management support will strengthen the organisational exchange and asset information requirements and ensure that they the required BIM documents to procure built asset information from their key suppliers, and procure data that provides downstream dividends to their operational teams.”
The project
Glider will review and uplift the current suite of BIM documents that they are currently using, including its Asset Information Requirements (AIR), Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and Project Information Requirements (PIR) along with their COBie templates, Spatial Hierarchy and BIM capability and capacity assessments.
Additionally, Glider will work closely with the Digital and Building Information Management team. This will be to ensure they are understood, accepted and rolled into future projects and contract documentation.
Glider will incorporate holistic requirements for development, operation, planned and reactive maintenance and compliance with relevant regulation. This includes the Fire Safety Regulations 2022 and Building Safety Act 2022. All documents produced by Glider will be tailored to Network Homes’ individual processes.
This project is very similar in scope to work Glider has previously completed for fellow G15 Housing Association, Clarion Housing Group. The review workshops and consultation programme is fast-track and targeted at 2-months as part of a wider strategic review and improvement initiative.
