Glider has made updates to its flagship information management platform, gliderbim®, making it even more accessible to users.
The most recent gliderbim® software updates have made improvements to the look of the interface so it is compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), enabling accessibility and a better user experience for visually impaired users.
Glider’s mission is to power the digitalisation of the built environment, which it achieves via the provision of its flagship product, gliderbim®. This is Glider’s digital information management platform for the entire lifecycle of built assets. In creating and providing a digital software solution to the challenges presented by the built environment, Glider always strives to be as inclusive as possible.
The most recent gliderbim® software updates have seen changes to a view of the software to build compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), which sets out optimal international standards for accessible online content, enabling accessibility and user experience for visually impaired users.
The latest gliderbim® update ensures it is AA compliant as per the WCAG guidelines; ensuring improved accessibility for visually impaired users.
John Adams, Head of Product at Glider commented: “We are pleased to announce the latest gliderbim® updates, as we make our program better for visually impaired users.”
John continued, “One of Glider’s principal tenets is accelerating the process of securing a collaborative culture across the built environment. We recognise that there is no collaborative culture without inclusion, so we live by our philosophy and continue to evolve our software to provide the best user experience possible.”
Glider pledges to continually update gliderbim® to ensure the highest level of accessibility for all users.
