Case Study:
Wates Group, Hammersmith Police Station
Wates Group was selected by the Metropolitan Police Service to deliver the £40m redevelopment of the Hammersmith police station.
Enabling the Stage 5 and 6 collation of structured data for the redevelopment of Hammersmith Police Station
The scheme, which has a development value of up to £60m, began in 2016 and is due for completion late 2020.
The design by RSP Architects was for the refurbishment of the existing 1930s, Grade II-listed police station on Shepherd’s Bush Road, and included the construction of an adjoining new-build custody facility and flexible office space – in addition to basement car parking and stables for the Mounted Branch.
Glider was commissioned by Wates to enable the Stage 5 and 6 collation of structured data for the facility and provide Software-as-a-Service.
We provided a comprehensive information management service for the project, enabling the successful implementation of the gliderbim® solution, management of the supply chain, and ensuring a compliant level 2 COBie delivery to the client team.
