Glider managed the O&M delivery of NTT's "London 1" data centre in Dagenham, East London
As a global ICT provider, NTT employs more than 40,000 people spanning 57 countries, trading in 73 countries and delivering services in over 200 countries and regions.
NTT has built one of the largest data centres in Europe, “London 1”, in Dagenham, East London covering an impressive 580,000 sq ft and offering 60MW IT load. The data centre features spaces for both traditional retail and wholesale clients across multiple segments of the building.
During the fit-out stage of the project, Glider was appointed to manage the O&M delivery of the project, in addition to consolidating the basebuild and substation project information into a single digital delivery for the client.
The client has aspirations to grow this ‘single point of truth’ and connect into many custom and third-party systems. Glider is supporting this journey via utilising our API.
London 1 will also join up to NTT’s five other data centers in Slough and Hemel Hempstead, which all together surpass 110MW of IT load.
