Deutsche Bank AG is a multinational investment bank and financial services company headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, and dual-listed in New York Stock Exchange and Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
The bank’s network spans 58 countries, with over 8,000 employees in the UK alone, making it one of the largest employers in the City of London
As part of its expansion plans in the City, 21 Moorfields is set to soon become the new London headquarter building for Deutsche Bank. This impressive 16-storey 564,000 sq ft development is located directly above an existing London Underground station and a future Crossrail ticket hall.
Due for completion in 2022, the development is arranged as two office buildings, east and west. It will not only become the new London home for Deutsche Bank, but will incorporate retail and commercial office space, improved pedestrian permeability via a reconfigured highwalk and a new public square.
Glider was appointed by Deutsche Bank to support the digital journey from RIBA Stage 2 on its fit out of the office space. With other recent Smart Buildings being developed in London, the client could see the benefit of creating a team of consultants to lead its vision of incorporating smart technologies throughout the building.
We have devised a digital strategy for the development project and are working alongside the design team to provide essential digital coordination activities, making preparations for O&M and overall project Information Management.
In addition to the design team, we are working extensively with the client’s operations team to develop workflows on how to maintain and maximise the use of digital information.
