Established in 2016, Glider Technology (Glider) has a passion for Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Information Management, and because of this we develop and provide information management software and consultancy services to the AEC and asset management industries.
Our Software as a Service (SaaS) is named gliderbim®, and is a new, unique brand of full lifecycle, asset information management software. Our mission is to revolutionise how information is managed throughout design, construction and operation of the built environment.
The Glider team is made up of a diverse team of software engineers, BIM consultants, Information Managers, Project Managers, and Senior Management. All staff work from home and always will do, but we like to meet up on a regular basis for company briefings, team building, and general fun.
Job roles within Glider that are of a client-facing role will meet on a more regular basis as well as with customers for project-related or sales-related meetings. The majority of customer meetings are held at the clients own office and the frequency of meetings is individual to that project.
Glider Technology (Glider) are looking for an exceptional Senior BIM Consultant to join our growing team and to work with one of our major public sector clients. The involvement with this client relates to their ongoing roll out of our AIM CDE software, gliderbim® and their implementation of working practices around information management, so that they can achieve their digital aspirations with their current and future assets. You will be expected to support all elements of this roll out, the main items include:
The successful applicant will have a diverse workday and will be expected to be adaptable in their approach. The role will also be required to assist in the management of the project delivery lifecycle. A Senior BIM Consultant will be asked to provide consultancy services to understand and develop data requirements for customers and implement our product, gliderbim®. You will be expected to work closely with the current implementation team and other departments within Glider.

In addition to their technical skills, a Senior BIM Consultant will sometimes be required to liaise with sales personnel to answer technical questions about the company’s products and services, and to work with support staff to help resolve complex customer issues.
